About the New Zealand Rabbit Council

The Rabbit Council of New Zealand Inc. is an organisation whose objectives are:
- To protect, further and co-ordinate the interest of all New Zealand rabbit breeders.
- To assist and extend the exhibition of rabbits.
- To promote the use of rabbit wool (specifically Angora and Cashmere wool) in production, focus on its unique properties, ethical sourcing, and sustainable practices.
- To foster the improvement of all rabbit breeds, and provide a unified body whose collective voice has a benefical effect on rabbits in New Zealand
- Encourage and maintain the qualities of recognised breeds.

RCNZ Standards Committee
Please submit all information by:
1st March, 1st June, 1st September each year.
The Standards Committee will look at your submissions and get back to you within 3 months,or before the next month’s intake.
